I’m Junwen Yang, a dynamic and purpose-driven individual with a deep passion for public relations, event management, and philanthropy. With a strong academic foundation in Public Relations, Innovation, and Public Health at Boston University, I’ve leveraged my skills to lead impactful projects that blend creativity with community engagement.
My experiences range from organizing large-scale events like BUAS Game Night, which brought together over 120 students through a mix of amusement park-style and casino-inspired games, to spearheading the Kpop After School showcase that connected 50 performers with 250 students. I’ve consistently focused on fostering inclusive and memorable experiences that not only engage participants but also enhance organizational visibility, as demonstrated by my leadership in BUAS’s One-Week Couple event and the cross-university collaboration it entailed.
Outside of the academic and event spheres, I’ve committed myself to philanthropic efforts through the Yunnan Drifting Library, a charity I co-founded, which has brought over 30,000 books and educational resources to rural schools in China. This initiative has helped bridge educational gaps for underprivileged children in remote regions, a cause that I continue to champion through client engagement projects that combine philanthropy and wealth management.
From organizing high-impact events to driving community-building initiatives and leading philanthropic projects, I aim to use my skills to create meaningful connections and positive change. I am always seeking new opportunities to grow, contribute, and make a difference.
